Cookies & embedded media
The UniHub website gives visitors control over optional third-party maps and videos. The following describes the storage and embeds currently integrated into the front-end.
Essential preference storage
UniHub stores the privacy setting under unihub-privacy-v1 in browser local storage. The record contains a version number, whether embedded media is allowed and when the setting was saved. This is used to remember your choice; it is not an advertising identifier.
Optional embedded media
If enabled, the Google Maps embed and YouTube player may connect to Google-owned services and may set or read third-party storage according to browser policy. Optional embeds do not load until allowed. If you decline, the website remains navigable and provides a map link that you may choose to open externally.
Analytics and advertising
The current static website source does not intentionally install analytics or advertising trackers. If additional services are introduced, the privacy information and preferences must be reviewed and updated before deployment.
How to manage preferences
Use Cookie Preferences in the footer to review or change your choice. The default on a first visit is no optional media loading. You can also clear site data in your browser and choose again.
Provider information
See Google's privacy policy for services such as Maps and YouTube. These external policies are controlled by the providers.
